The Cards...
Tarot cards are believed to have originated in Egypt, and were introduced into Renaissance Italy in the late 14th or early 15th Century. They were modified soon after by gambling afficianados, becoming the forerunners of the modern deck of playing cards.
As a method of divination, the Tarot can be thought of as revealing the patterns that shape your life. With practice, you will quickly see repeated themes - the people and forces that govern your life, and the way you interact with them.
